Quick guide to using the SSD-Clone web portal and desktop cloning application.

1.About this manual

•This manual explains how to: create an account on the web portal, download the application, get authorization to clone (using credits and tokens), and use the desktop application to perform cloning.

•SSD-Clone is an enterprise-grade solution for offline disk replication. You get bank-level security, hardware-bound licensing, and lightning-fast block-level copying—so you can clone drives reliably without depending on the cloud during the actual clone.
•What we offer:
•• Hardware-bound offline licensing: Each clone is authorized with a token tied to the machine that will perform the clone. You generate the token once (on the portal or from the app), and the clone runs fully offline. No need for an internet connection during the copy.
•• Up to 2x faster than standard tools: We use optimized block-level I/O and sequential read/write strategies, so cloning is significantly faster than typical file-based or unoptimized disk tools.
•• Anti-tamper binary protection: The cloning application is built to resist tampering and unauthorized use. This helps protect both the software and your licensing model in the field.

•A computer running Windows or Linux.
•The cloning application must run with administrator privileges (required for disk access).
•Internet connection to register your account, download the program, and (optionally) authorize clones online.
•Two disks: one source (to copy from) and one destination (to write to). The destination disk must be at least the same size as the source.

•Go to the SSD-Clone website and click "Create Account".
•Fill in email, email confirmation, first name, last name (optional), company (optional), and password (at least 8 characters). Accept the terms if applicable.
•After registering, sign in with your email and password on the same website.
•If you forget your password, use "Forgot your password?" to receive a reset link by email.

•Each clone consumes 1 credit. Credits are used when you generate an "Authorization Token" on the portal (or when authorizing online from the application).
•You can buy more credits from the user panel under "Buy More Credits". Packages and prices are shown on that page.
•On the portal you will see your credit balance and activity history (clones, bonuses, purchases).

•With your session active, on the main panel you will see the "SSD-Clone Agent" section with the latest version available.
•Click "Download SSD-Clone". A ZIP file will download (e.g. ssd-clone-X-Y-Z.zip).
•Extract the ZIP to a folder of your choice. The program is portable: it does not install anything on your system; you simply run the executable from the extracted folder.
•Run the "ssd-clone" program (or the indicated executable) as administrator: right-click the executable and "Run as administrator". On Windows this is required for disk access.
•The first time you run it, Windows may ask for permission to run this file; select Yes to continue.

•If you will clone on a machine without internet or prefer not to sign in from the application, use the "offline" flow:
•1. In the desktop application, select Source and Destination and (optionally) click "Speed Test". When you try to start the clone, the application will show a "Request Code" (long code on screen).
•2. Copy that Request Code. On the web portal, in the "Token Generator" section, paste the Request Code into the text box.
•3. Click "Generate Auth Token". One credit will be deducted and an "Authorization Token" will be displayed.
•4. Copy the Authorization Token and paste it into the desktop application where requested. The clone will then be authorized for that machine and you can start the clone.
•Each token is valid for a single clone on the machine that generated the Request Code.
•Disclaimer: When you generate an authorization token for a clone, the credit is deducted at the moment of generation. If the clone fails for any reason, the token will not be refunded.

•Main screen: two columns, Source (SOURCE) and Destination (DESTINATION). In each you choose the disk from the dropdown. A representation of partitions and sizes is shown.
•Options: you can enable "Fast mode" or "Clean target" as needed. The system prevents selecting the system disk as destination for safety.
•Authorization: if "online authorization" is enabled, sign in from the application (Settings → relevant tab) with your portal email and password. If using offline mode, enter the Authorization Token generated on the portal (see previous section).
•Start clone: click the button to start. Progress, speed, and estimated time will be shown. When finished, you can download a text report if available.
•Updates: in Settings there is an "Update" tab where you can check for a new version and start the download.

•The application may check for updates on startup. If a new version is available, a notice will appear with the option to download.
•You can also check manually in Settings → "Update" tab. The download is usually a ZIP; extract it and replace the previous installation or run the new version.

•I cannot clone: make sure you are running the application as administrator, the destination disk is not the system disk, and you have credits (or a valid offline token / active online session).
•Token generation error: verify that the Request Code was copied completely with no extra spaces. It must be valid Base64. Ensure you have at least 1 credit.
•The application does not see my disks: on Windows, run as administrator. Check that the disks are properly connected and recognized by the system.
